Thanks for stopping by my corner of the interwebs. If you are curious about the history of Two Trick Pony, read on…
I started my little company with fellow designer Carrie Holmes back in the mid-2000s, creating 100% recycled, retro-inspired greeting cards, screen printed by hand in our very own print shop. In our heyday, Two Trick Pony’s eco-friendly cards could be found in hundreds of stores nationwide as well as in Australia and Canada. Carrie and I parted ways as business partners (but not as friends!) after about five years. You can see Carrie’s brilliant design work at hicarrie.com or follow her Swedish adventures on Instagram at @holmeshandmade.
After switching to a more compassionate lifestyle, I began adding eco-friendly goods with vegan messages to the Two Trick Pony product line. Our art prints, tote bags and tees were all made in the USA using recycled and organic materials. I had so much fun selling these goods at vegfests and markets around New England. Not only was I able to meet amazing, like-minded folks but I enjoyed the most delicious vegan food!
Fast forward to today—my focus has shifted away from creating ethically-made goods and towards offering creative services to ethically-minded businesses. Some of the folks I have had the pleasure to work with are:
VegNews Magazine
Our Hen House
Spirit of Change Magazine
Compassion Arts
Le Pamplemuse
Maple Farm Sanctuary
Faxon Green Eco-Elegant Floral Design
Jasmin Singer, author + activist
VegWorcester
